We had such a wonderful weekend last weekend. Our good friends the Mekka's came over with their beautiful daughter Katelyn. She is 10 months old and Riley had so much fun playing with her. I can not wait to see how much fun Riley and Caden have when he is a bit older.
On Sunday we went to the apple farm to pick apples. I had not done this since I was a child. We had so much fun going as a family. It was a beautiful day and we could not have had a better time.
We took a hay ride up to the orchards. Riley had never done this before and was so excited. I don't know what she was more excited about, the ride or being pulled by a tractor.
She was amazed that we could pick the apples and eat them right away. I think she ate/tried 7 different apples.
Climbing the apple trees was pretty neat too!
After we picked apples Riley rode the ponies.
Caden has become such a smiley little guy. It has been so much fun trying to get him to smile this week. I am sure glad there aren't any flies on our walls reporting to anyone how goofy we look trying to do it too.
Caden was 7 weeks 2 days in these photos...
Amazingly this is a photo of Riley at 7 weeks 2 days! What are the chances! After importing the photos of Caden into the computer they reminded me of this picture of Riley. I went to look at it and discovered that they were taken at exactly the same age!
This first picture is of Dustin as a baby, the second is Caden and the third is me. I don't think there is any denying that he is our. Caden definitely has Dustin's mouth and my nose! I think we will keep him!
