We enjoyed a 3 day weekend up in Three Lakes this last week. A bunch of our friends joined us to go snowmobiling. Though I bowed out, Riley sure didn't. She panicked when Dustin left without her the first morning so she and I went shopping and got her her own helmet. She loved it.
Riley went out for a short ride with everyone on Friday. She had so much fun on that ride Dustin decided to take her with for a 3 hour ride on Saturday. Apparently between all of the fresh air, the hum of the snowmobile and the beautiful scenery Riley found it necessary to take a nap. Dustin called at one of the stops to tell me that Riley had been sleeping for the last hour of their ride. She continued to sleep for the next 3o min of the ride. Unfortunately it is not the easiest thing to drive a snowmobile with a 30 lb. sleeping 2 year old and a huge helmet flopping around. Dustin said that her helmet would flop forward and hit the throttle. Maybe he will decide to go on shorter rides with her next time!

People started to pack up and leave Sunday morning so Dustin and I took Brenna and Riley outside to play. It was so great having Brenna around, she and Riley did lots of playing with each other.
I added this picture in to prove that I was indeed there and did venture outside a few times!
Riley is in love with John, and he with her.
What a great time we had! Hopefully we will be able to do it again next year.
