Lots to show

I didn't realize how long it had been since I had last posted.  But it has been a while.  We have been busy with lots of things.  This last weekend we went to Appleton and had pictures taken of Riley hoping that one of them will turn out for a Christmas Card.  This is the first picture that I have gotten from the photographer. She hopes to have more done by the end of the week.  If they are all this great, we are going to have a very hard time deciding!

I have been trying to make lunch a bit more exciting the last few weeks.  This is my latest creation.  A little bit of a lot of things in muffin tins.  Riley has seemed to like it.  I have only done it about two times a week thought because I didn't want it to get boring too quickly.

Last weekend we went down to Illinois to visit Dusitn's parents and Grandma for the day.  Riley had to walk back and see the horse of course. But Charger was not being very social, he stayed to the back of the pasture.  Riley and Dustin hiked back there to see him.  He (Charger) couldn't have cared less, oh well, at least Riley enjoyed his company.

Last week Monday we went to our friend's house to carve pumpkins.  Riley and Brenna are still the only children from our group of friends, but they sure seem to have a good time together.

Early last week I asked Riley what she wanted for breakfast.  While looking for Eggos in the freezer Riley spotted the ice cream and of course wanted that.  Like a good mom I said that she needed to eat her breakfast first and made her quite upset.  Shortly after breakfast I went back to the bathroom to dry my hair.  Riley was on the couch watching a show.  When I returned to the kitchen this is what I found... Riley and an empty container of Ice Cream.  She even opened the silverware drawer and got her self a spoon!  What a stinker butt!

Again, sometime last week, Riley and I played dress up. I went through all of my old play jewlrey and loaded Riley up.  She was so beautiful!

This is a new sweater that Gammy got for Riley last week.  It is so think that we have been using it as a fall jacket.  It is so cute.  We have gotten many compliments on it.  I just can't get enough of that hood!  I call her my little elf.
