Mother's Day

Wow, it has been almost a month since I last posted.  We have been quite busy and both Riley and I had the flu for a week each.  

Riley spent 2 days on the couch watching movies and sleeping.  She has become a little girl who loves her babies.  They go everywhere she does!

We went to Appleton to celebrate Mother's Day weekend.  Riley spent the day on Sunday eating donut holes.  I think they are her new favorite food.

Then she decided that she needed a rest and laid herself down for a few minutes. (what a perfect child!)

Apparently laying down on her own was not sufficient.  She needed her best friend Maddox to lay down with her.

Riley has taken after me... she needs to get her hands on every present as it is being opened.

Riley needed to remind Maddox that she was still there and that she still loved him.

It has become a tradition to take pictures every Mother's Day outside by one of my parent's flowering trees.  It was an absolutely beautiful day for it. 

After taking pictures we stayed outside for a bit talking and then we all went inside.  This is Riley telling us, that she didn't want to go inside.  

"Oh, Maddox is still outside!   I can play with him!"
