What a great long weekend we had. On Friday afternoon we went up to the cottage. Riley and Daddy did a bit of fishing... well, Daddy did a bit of fishing and Riley did a lot of looking and pointing. Saturday night after dinner we headed for home so that we could get some long overdue things done around the house.

Riley has finally decided that it is acceptable to get her feet dirty in the sand. Up until this weekend she would only look at the sand and if it did get on her, try to wipe it off right away. Not so any more! She has become in love with the sand box now. We couldn't get her out of it all weekend.
Sunday night we were playing outside. One by one Riley waked from the pool over to the porch step and put the ducks and turtles in a row. Notice in the second picture what she left behind. She would pick up those things, look at them and drop them back down again. Apparently she has some amazing sorting skills! ha ha.
