What a great week we had up in Three Lakes again this year. The weather was a little cool for lots of swimming, but that made it perfect weather conditions for sleeping. I guess you have to give and take a little.
Monday night was the perfect night. After dinner Dustin and I took Riley out on the boat for a boat ride. The water was like glass which made for a spectacular sight. We went up and down the chain for a while which turned into about an hour long boat ride. Then we came back, made popcorn and watched tv. Riley loved the boat, she would laugh and clap when we would go over another boats waves. I will remember that night for ever.
Tuesday morning we drove into Minocqua, about an hour away, for breakfast at Paul Bunyans. What a great breakfast we had. I told Dustin that I am so glad that we have made this a tradition.
Saturday night we had a wedding to go to of a good friend of Dustin's from up there. Riley looked like a little doll and she acted like one for the majority of the time we were there. I guess you can't blame a 15 month old little girl for not wanting to sit down through a 1 1/2 hour long dinner.
What a great time we had. I can't wait until next year to do it all again.
