Gammy's 80th Birthday Surprise

What a great weekend we had.  We planned a surprise birthday party for Gammy's 80th birthday.  We had sent her a card telling her to be ready for lunch.  The 4 grand-girls took her out to lunch.  She has always taken each of us out for our respective birthday lunches, so we decided to turn the tables and do it for her.  My favorite comment of the day was when we were leaving; Gammy said... "You know girls, I really like your mom's but, it was really great having lunch with just the girls."  We liked it too Gammy!

At lunch we then gave her a card that told her to be ready at 4:30 for her next surprise.  We all met at Gammy's house.  We told her we were headed to Haven, Wisconsin.  She was clueless!

This was when Gammy noticed the bus pull up into their driveway.

Our first stop was at Whistling Straights Golf Course, in Haven, Wisconsin, for drinks and hors dourves.

We then got back on the bus and drove to the American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin.  We had a spectacular dinner in the Immigrant Room.  What a great day it was!  Maybe Gammy can turn 80 again sometime so we an do it again!
