This weekend Riley discovered two new favorite things... Popcorn and her new Car Seat. Dustin and I make popcorn on a regular basis but always make it after Riley goes to bed. On Friday night Dustin decided to make it before she went to bed and we let her try some. Well, she liked it. She couldn't get enough of it. There were times when she was double fisting it and her little mouth was puffed up like a puffer fish. I guess she does take after me after all!
Since Riley will be turning 1 just around the corner we decided that we would start shopping for a new car seat for her since she is still in her infant seat. Because she has stayed so skinny (something she does not take after me on!) we have not had to get a new car seat yet. But when she turns a year she can also turn around and face forward. Well we found a seat that we liked and opened it up for her. She thinks it is the greatest thing in the world. When we took it out of the box, Riley climbed right in. Because she has continued to love sitting in it, it is still sitting in our living room. (Hopefully it will not stay there until she is a year!) It is like her own little TV watching chair. She thinks she is pretty special. I am very glad that she likes it so much since she seems to spend so much time in the car going to visit people! I can't believe that she is almost 1. The time sure has flown!
